Hallicrafters General Coverage/Ham Band Receiver
This radio covers 500kc thru 30.0mc, with seperate bandspread tuning for the hambands 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters. I've had this radio since new. It was my first store bought receiver purchased for me by my parents when I was in junior high school. I've often wondered if there was any coincidence in the fact that they bought it for me about a month after my father got his own ham license. Prior to this I had to make do with homebrew and ARC-5's!
