Hallicrafter S-53A

Very nice entry little general coverage receiver with 6 meter capability. The case on this one (but not the front panel) has been repainted. The knobs, while they look identical to original knobs, are not original. I've used this quite a bit for CW contacts especially during the Classic Exchange so it is quite usable as a ham receiver. Works nice for SWL general coverage as well, but not up to the standards of the high end Hallicrafter receivers. There is one non-original hole on the right side of the liftable top cover where a 1/4" phone jack has been added.
